Best (in no particular order) :
- Ample Sounds J and P basses. These things just sound real to me. Maybe one day I’ll actually figure out how to use the riffer.
- OTS Rickenbacker bass. Sounds great and comes with a ton of presets.

There is a really neat program on this site that allows you to make custom reverb IR’s (sort of like Burger King, you get to have it your way). I ran one just to see how it sounded and considering it’s totally free I was really impressed.
