Peter asked how I managed to get Jordan to use Traveling Pianos. One of the guys on my advertising team knows Jordan, and asked him to try it out.
BTW, Jordan’s awesome! He’s a fan of our libraries and loved the piano and offered to do the video.

3Firstly, I didn’t word the original text of the sale. The team I hire to do my advertising did that, and forgot to check with me first. So… to clarify…
Once the sale is over, my site (kirkhunterstudios.com) will no longer sell my libraries. In the foreseeable future, I will not be creating new libraries for the marketplace. APD has been the only “external” site that has been authorized to sell my libraries. Should I authorize them, or anyone else to sell my libraries in the future, I will make sure that their prices are higher than my existing sale prices. Additionally, I will still provide support should that eventuality take place.
So trust me when I say that you will never get lower prices than the current sale prices from any authorized vendor.
4And a few others… some are “died in the wool” 80s inspired.
21Peter, I never meant to imply that you would ever stoop to any low level of any kind. 🙂

11Peter, I love ya man, but let’s take a step back from the questionable posts on other forums. I believe it’s best to stay focused on our topic and not fan the flames. Critics will always exist, and that’s just how it is. Let’s allow others to form their own opinions and take the high road by ignoring the trolling — consider it bait and rise above it.
13Yesterday (10/3/2024), Peter reached out to me about my “farewell sale” forum page on his new LinkedMusicians site and encouraged me to share my thoughts there. As many of you know, I generally avoid forums due to their often toxic atmosphere. However, given Peter’s vision for this space, I felt it was worth a try.
About the sale:
Support: Rest assured, I will continue to provide support after the sale for the foreseeable future.
Download Links: After a certain period post-sale, download links will no longer be accessible. I strongly recommend that customers back up their products—this has always been my advice.
Reasons for Moving On: Many have speculated about my decision to step back. There’s no single reason, but primarily, at 65, I feel it’s time to pursue more creative and enjoyable ventures, which are already gaining traction. Additionally, with the rise of AI and evolving technology, I believe the business model for sample library development no longer aligns with my goals.
Peter has also suggested the possibility of an interview, and I’m open to that idea. I’ve enjoyed interviews in the past—they’re always fun.In summary, I’m grateful to be part of this community, as long as it remains a positive space—unlike some other communities I’ve encountered.
