Simple. I turned 11 years old the day The Beatles landed in the USA for the first time (7 Feb 1964). I saw them on Ed Sullivan both times they appeared. That was all I needed even though I didn’t actually fully start until 3 years later when I got my first electric guitar (not bass) and met up with kid I went to school with in the 5th grade who had been playing drums for about a year and was playing with a guitar player who taught me my first few songs. We played 2 gigs in the first month we were together.

Music was always in my family, my father was a drummer, my brother was a singer.

Beauty and some thoughts that are hard to speak. It’s basically necessity for expression. Music gives me all the liberty that I need 😀

When I heard Appetite for Destruction it was the most amazing thing I have ever heard.
