I was — and remain — a huge fan of Steely Dan as a kid and was crazy about the Aja album. Of course, Jay did the brilliant, iconic guitar solo on “Peg.” But, of course, with all of his studio work as a musician and songwriting, Jay’s a total legend.

Spent more than a decade playing semi-professionally as a drummer before a repetitive stress injury resulted in lifelong tendinitis that stopped me from being able to perform. Amateur songwriter.
