I’ve given advice to more than three dozen sample and plugin developers over two decades. I haven’t talked to any of them about joining yet. I wanted to wait until we were opened it to public registration next month. But the word is starting to get out. I can see that there’s an interest.
I was just wondering what everyone’s take is on developers being part of this community and if there are certain ones you would like to be here. I have made a policy that all developers and contractors must clearly state that they are developers or work for a certain developer (s) in their signature and will ensure that no developer engages in excessive self-promotion. My goal is to help the community have a greater rapport with developers of the products they use and create an environment of authenticity where honest experiences with developers and their products and services will be shared without censorship (assuming all criticism is civil, of course).
If there are any developers that you would like me to invite let me know. Over the years, some of the developers I have given advice to include Steven Slate Digital, Sonic Reality, Pettinhouse, Kirk Hunter Studios, SonicCouture, Tronsonic, 8Dio/SondPaint…and many more I can’t even recall the names of off hand.

Peter’s a friend of two decades. I don’t know if, from a business perspective, IK would want him to invest too much time when the community is small, but I do think he’d like what we’re doing here. I know that Peter and I share the same ideals on how people should treat one another, I’ll contact him tomorrow. I would — just on a personal level — love for him to be part of this.
I am all for it. I can only see benefits, especially if they are knowledgeable in the product. Of course salesman would not be the same. I thought Peter of IK does a great job on other forums.
