I understand the ‘buy now, get 1 year of updates’ thing. What I don’t get (but may have missed) is whether you get bug fixes after the 1 year cut-off.

Let’s say I buy 1 year of updates. Midway through the final month, I get this new feature, but it’s got a few bugs in it. Let’s say they’re fixed 1 month after; do I get these free, or do I have to pay WUP-style to get it fixed?

If it’s sold as a year, then I’d assume you’d be shit out of luck when your year is up unless they specifically have two separate update paths for feature updates and bug fixes.

Only place I’ve seen that happen is with Clip Studio Paint and even there it’s confusing af.
