This Product includes a perpetual license for Studio One Pro 7, along with a 6-mo. subscription to every software title PreSonus makes. Once the 6 month subscription is over, you can still use Studio One 7, but you will not have access to every plug-in from the PreSonus Catalog.

Can we trust them?

So there’s really no kind of price benefit for being an owner of a previous version of Studio One Pro. That’s simply not what I expected. $149 for me to update as a Studio Pro One 3 owner or $99 for me to get the same thing regardless if I am a Studio One Pro owner.

That is what I thought. It is common for companies to offer better, more enticing deals to attract new customers, but offering new customers a lower price to buy their flagship package than they offer existing customers to upgrade is confusing and just plain bad strategy and poor marketing. It’s sure to confuse and alienate many current customers and turn some PreSonus folks into PostSonus folks.
