Peter, I appreciate the transparency and the amazing work that you have done on the web site. I also very much appreciate Larry and his prodigious posting of fantastic deals. I’m going to be super bummed if you guys can’t make up and carry on with the friendship. I’m hoping that after a short break to take a breather everything will be smooth sailing again. For goodness sake, Black Friday is just around the corner! We need to bring our A game to the Deals forum!

I just hope that someone here who is friends with Larry can reach out to him and remind him of all we’ve accomplished and how small this one thing is. We’ve been really supportive friends PMing each other for I don’t know how long — but a long time. He has my number and I have not, at any point, stated any unkind words in return.  I hope that will count for something and help in repairing our relationship. I’m not expecting an apology, but I am expecting respect and confidence that if Larry returns, he can abide by the forum rules. I can even designate that someone else — another of two volunteer moderators can be mediators if there is any future issues. But the policy on NO POLITICS is just as it is written. That’s non negotiable and if Larry returns, he’s going to have to promise to abide by that rule.
