I was watching Simeon do a demo on Slower which has a “fragment” version (just one of the several instruments). I went to the e-Instruments sites and listened to Desolate because I love twangy reverb drenched tremolo guitar (Twin Peaks, Duane Eddy etc). I might bite on getting the rest of the plugin. Plugin Alliance was the first company I bought a plugin from – the bx_bassdude fender bassman VST, probably developed by Igor Nembrini. Everyday when I practice bass I use the B15N which I know Nembrini developed. I always enjoyed Dirk’s marketing shenanigans and am grateful for the freebies they’ve shared over the years.

We considered ProTools but have decided to either go iMac Mini and Logic or stay on the PC and move over to Reaper. Happy so far Cakewalk by Bandlab but not confidant we won’t be forced to subscribe which isn’t happening. If you need “industry standardization” 🙂 a cheap Focusrite might be a good way to go.
