I’ve had it since when it was v1 and I don’t recall there being an upgrade charge (unless you’re actually referring to a crossgrade).
Did you login and check if you have a download?

I picked mine up on BF for $29 years ago. They usually have some sort of discount on BF.

August 22nd, 2022: Plugindoctor v2 has been released! Including one big new feature a lot of users have been asking for: Plugindoctor is now available as a plugin itself.
