I admit I half expected that it could have been an April Fools Day prank. I was going to do one for the site, but I’ve had so much going on, that I decided not to. Years ago, I did work with Greg Schlaepfer for a ridiculous idea I had, poking fun at developers calling everything Emotional and Epic to create a promo video and page for the Emotional Cowbell, a ultra deep sampled library that captures the emotionality of the cowbell like never before. We had a blast working on that — cracking jokes back and forth. Maybe next year.

Actually, it might have been called Epic. I do remember that a couple of years after we did that, a developer actually released a library with that exact name.
