LOL looking at the Fender website I can’t figure out** why I would shell out the extra $$ vs just the upgrade.
**I haven’t listened to / watched all the videos but hell with that – they should just spell it out in plain English

I agree with your analysis. They could do a much better job showing users why the upgrade is worth it, you wouldn’t think that people would have to search for it. I asked Google if there was a page and the best response seems to be this AI summary:
