Its a lot cheaper than that on the NI website; I just picked up Kontakt 8 for £65 as they offer a loyalty discount if you have any of the Komplete select bundles that were given out for free earlier this year as promoted on this sub.

On top of that the purchase includes a  £90 voucher which works on their current sale prices so i got Circular bundled as well for just another 50p.

First, @tactiletoast, I see that it’s your very first post at LinkedMusicians, so welcome!

Second, you wrote that “it’s a lot cheaper than that on the NI website.” That’s incorrect. It’s actually slightly more expensive at the NI $149.50 at the NI website, that’s just slightly more expensive and NI doesn’t include the free plugin with purchase or earn and allow the use loyalty cash to reduce the price, like you can do at Plugin Boutique. Here’s the link to NI’s site. But if NI is giving away the freebie voucher you mentioned, that’s clearly a great deal. But that’s for the crossgrade version, not the full version featured in the original post.

This is the price for Kontakt 8 crossgrade version for existing owners of Komplete Select 10-15 and any paid Native Instruments Kontakt instrument of $99+ is $74 at Plugin Boutique, which can be reduced with loyalty cash and includes a free plugin. But the package you described at NI still sounds better, so I’d recommend that people compare the two offers.

Every library on the list is my recommendation. It’s consistently the second most popular page on the site and I have been working on it for around 4 years so far and update it no less than every month, but commonly once a week. From my research, it’s the largest curated of reviewed and recommended free sample libraries for Kontakt on the web. It’s truly amazing that many of those libraries are free. While a lot of them are for Kontakt Player — I’m guessing nearly half — the rest require the full version of Kontakt.
