Thanks for posting this! I was about to and saw that you covered it. Much appreciated. I — and @lamia6 — have been spending time doing enhancements to the site content/capabilities this week, so I’m not as quick with putting up deals. I hope you — and everyone — checks out the new features like the Daily Digest Emails (lamia6 made that happen, which I think is awesome), the new free PowerSEARCH engines (basically, custom Google search engine applications), the PowerSEARCH engine for free synth presets, then the Mixing and Mastering Problem-Solver, which lets you enter in any mix problems you’re having and gives you expert advice on how to solve the problem.

All of the content is on other sites, so it’s not keeping people on LinkedMusicians, it’s all about creating super useful free resources. Just like with the best free sample library, free effects, and free synth, it’s curating the high quality resources — and keeping out everything else — so our community just gets high-quality results and it can save them money too,  of course. I’m a huge fan of Vital and regularly scour the web for free Vital presets and this is basically me taking those resources, gathering them all up, making them searchable so people can easily find really great presets for whatever they’re looking for, absolutely free.

The reality is, if you do a Google search for this stuff, you’d have to sift through a lot of low-quality stuff, a lot of pages and YouTube videos for presets that don’t even exist, they’re just gimmicks or they were removed years ago and the promo pages or videos are still up. It’s kind of like a different way of discovering what you can discover on a site like Pianobook. But no one else is doing what I just did. No doubt, because there’s no money in what I just did. It’s just done to be helpful for our community with zero chance to monetize it.
