“Back In Time” Back In Time – Peter Woods Featuring Cole the VII

A rapper by the name of Cole the VII shared an acapella rap inviting musicians to put music to his rap. I mostly did it to amuse my son, who I knew would be surprised to hear his old rocker dad doing rap. All the instrumental, the chord progression were improvised on the first takes. With my tendinitis, I typically haven’t practiced anything. I just press record and play — for better or worse. I did hear that I sound like a 90s rock band backing a rapper. I do think I came up with some tasty riffs.
