I’ve been trying out the ToneX plugin and I have a peculiar problem with it: I can’t get rid of the reverb.
I have obviously disabled the reverb effect, gone through the settings of the amps and pedals, but no matter what I do there is always excessive reverb. Almost everything* has it, even individual pedals that have no reverb knob, even without a cabinet.
Conversely, on the amps I tried, turning the reverb knob all the way to 11 didn’t seem to affect the sound much either.
Is it supposed to work like this, or am I using it wrong? Is there a room simulation setting I can’t find? Edit: actually, it sounds more like a spring reverb.
*) it looks like the more distorted the sound, the more reverb there is.
Just trying it now, that is so weird. In Advanced Parameters, turning depth to 0 gets rid of some of it, but bizarre that reverb knob on the amps does nothing.
