IK Launches New TONEX Modeler

What’s new in version 1.10.0:

Introducing TONEX Modeler, now a separate app with batch processing and improved accuracy.
Fixed a crash that occurred in some cases when loading specific Tone Models from ToneNET.
Fixed an issue where the Favorite star did not work properly on certain selected Tone Models.
General reliability improvements.
What’s new in version 1.10.1:

Fixed an issue where re-training a capture did not overwrite the existing model.

We are proud to announce the launch of the new TONEX Modeler, a FREE update for all paid versions of TONEX, available today through the IK Product Manager as TONEX 1.10.

Developed by IK’s dedicated TONEX team, TONEX Modeler offers a variety of requested improvements and works seamlessly with TONEX software, ToneNET, and TONEX hardware, whether for capturing and creating Tone Models or performing live with more accurate and expressive Tone Models.

Hi. I got a TONEX pedal a month ago, and I’m very pleased with it. I found out how to capture my favorite amp sim presets from Amplitube to S-Gear when they’re in standalone mode.

I played a gig yesterday, using the TONEX pedal with my own preset.

Looking forward to testing the new Capture/Modeler.

It was just a small outdoor gig, and we covered Snowblind by Black Sabbath.

It was good to be “on stage” again, and we got positive feedback from both people and media (newspaper).

It started raining during soundcheck, and they only had a small tent, so we had to cuddle up together.

It stopped raining before the gig started, but left it up, just in case.This picture was taken by the bassists girlfriend, hence the angel.

I got a new 7 string black Ibanez… will arrive in 3 days or so… can’t wait! (I will never go back to having only 22 frets and 6 strings only. Hehe).

I’ve got an Ibanez 7 string myself, and I’m very pleased with it. It only the Gio version, which is the cheapest series, but I got it at a bargain 2nd hand a couple of years ago. It plays very well, even though it only has 22 frets 😉

TONEX v1.10.2 (for Mac/PC)

What’s new in version 1.10.2:

TONEX:

• Added a Tone Model Version filter (available in both Home and ToneNET).
• Fixed an issue with the cab lock in ToneNET.

TONEX Modeler:

• Fixed an issue where specific capture names could prevent training.
• Fixed an issue where re-training a capture could start multiple training processes.
• Fixed an issue where the “Start All” button became unavailable.
• Fixed an issue where the training progress bar could display incorrect jumps.
• General reliability improvements.

I represent IK Multimedia so I will post official things. I also may just post random things as a real human being because I also represent one of those. I will try to be clear when I'm just speaking as Peter, instead of "Peter from IK".

I make no promises to be 100% accurate in doing so, though. 🙂
