I’m a sucker for music boxes and Speldosa sounds lovely. At $4.99 US, I suppose I’ll pick that up.

Speldosa is also my favorite. It simple and sounds beautiful.
Okay, so we all seem to love music box songs. But right now, if I put you on the spot, can any of you share a project you did using a music box library?
I only ask that because I think I have more than a dozen music box libraries and I’m about to buy two more today, but I don’t believe I’ve ever used a music box sample library in a project yet. But I have big plans! Big, big plans to use one! 😉

Here’s a lullaby I wrote using a music box. It didn’t make the cut because the music box “needs EQ to tame the harshness” (and the strings were “too much”).

Lovely! I really like your song when the flute (I don’t — is that a Celtic flute?) and the lush strings come in. Very nice. Maybe we should have some kind of challenge to write songs with music boxes. You should share this in the subform to share songs. Yesterday, I saw Nigel’s song come up in the right hand side bar of the site (this stuff happens dynamically) and I had an idea I added to the site’s roadmap. Featuring members songs, like a song of the week around the site. So I’m definitely going to be making that happen in the coming months.
