komplete 15 standard or arturia 11?

i have arturia collection 10 and NI komplete 14 standard. If you only had $100 would you update the arturia collection to 11 or update to  komplete 15 standard?

First, I love NI and Arturia products, so this would not be an easy choice. But as I use sampled instruments more than anything else, I would choose to upgrade to Komplete 15 for the new version of Kontakt alone.  Using an older version of Kontakt would prevent you from using more and more free and paid libraries for Kontakt over time. Personally,  I made the move to Komplete 15 Ultimate during the summer sale (it’s the first time that I bought Komplete Ultimate). That said, I would want to update to the latest version of Arturia as soon as I had the funds! Unfortunately, I don’t own it, but would love to pick it up at some point. I’m especially fond of Pigments.

They are both great bundles and it really boils down to which added features look more interesting to you.  To take the devil’s side of Peter’s argument for NI-  Everything I ever bought from Arturia worked great for me from day one. Native released Kontakt 7 three years ago with many bugs that they never got fixed until they released version 8 two years later.  Note- they DID release a fixed Kontakt 7- you did not have to buy 8 to get the better function- you just had to wait two years!  NI said not many users had trouble with K7, but there were plenty on their support forums. FYI my experience with Kontakt 8 has been fine from day 1.  I think NI’s QA is lower than Arturia’s but if NI has more goodies in your wheelhouse, I would still go for them.

If you look at the Komplete product comparison spreadsheet, I think the only interesting thing you gain from Komplete 15 is Kontakt 8. V Collection has a similar spreadsheet available, and looking at it, the upgrade would give you more new toys.

I’m at V Collection 9 and Komplete CE 13, and decided to skip upgrading both and get just the Kontakt 8 update for €50.

I think komplete is better choice combined with vouchers. Coz it will be always the same price for arturia update even if u r at any version

Thanks for all the helpful comments. I need to get off the upgrading things every year rut. After spending way to much time deciding I went with the Komplete 15 upgrade. I finally determined it was more useful than getting the additional synths in Arturia 11 (although tempting) in that I have tons of synths already.
