QUESTION OF THE WEEK: Are you still open to buying NI products at this time?

I’m interested in learning how our group feels about purchasing Native Instruments plugins, sample libraries and other products since the company announced that they are in preliminary insolvency, consequently, making the company’s future very uncertain.

Have you or will you purchase NI products since the insolvency announcement? Have you frozen projects using NI plugins and sample libraries in case their activation servers cease operating or do you operate as you always have in the past?

Hello dear Peter, im very careful now with NI purchases, i want know more what happening in NI … we have no new info… i take pause with NI purchases… maybe until summer 🙂

I have no problem getting Kontakt instruments still. As always, it has to be something I think I’d use someday.

Now that I’ve recovered from the shock of Th Announcement I’m looking at libraries again.  I’m convinced that NI may not survive but Kontakt will.  My only real concern is who it ends up with, but that’s a problem for another day.

Personally, no more NI stuff nor any presets for them either until something concrete is said. My biggest concern is for the OG Massive, Massive X and FM8. Actually should shop around for a replacement for Transient Master. I love it, sounds great and so efficient. But who knows how long it is gonna be an available option.
