Pixel Cat is our playful lo-fi bitcrusher with springy space. It chews audio into pixelated grit, then washes it through a lively spring reverb for retro crunch with dreamy depth. Perfect on drums, synths, guitars, vocals, and anything that needs lo-fi magic.
Bits — Set bit depth for classic digital crunch and noise.
Rate — Reduce sample rate for gritty aliasing from subtle to extreme.
Spring — Add bouncy spring ambience from slap to roomy wash.
Drive — Push the signal into warm saturation before crushing.
Tone — Simple filter to darken or brighten the crushed sound.
Blend — Mix the crushed signal with your dry input for control.
A. Gain — Auto gain helps keep levels steady while you push.
IN / OUT — Fast gain staging on side sliders for clean setup or hot input.
Preset Display — Quick visual of the selected mode or value.
This sounds really good. Thanks for sharing, @mustakatu. I’m working on some collaborations with one of our incredibly talented members and when I watched the video I immediately thought of how this effect could work one of the projects, Good thing it’s only ten bucks!

@pseudopop, he’s an Indian-American youtuber, so he releases loads of these loyalty/referral links, and sometimes they happen to be pretty useful
Procrastination FTW!
(Who is Sanjay, and why do they get all the discounts?)
He’s an influencer. Developers / brands give influencers codes as a way of doing promotions. It’s affiliate marketing. Sanjay is one of the big influencers in this space, he makes a cut on every purchase using the code. I’ve worked with some influencers and the big ones in this space ask upwards of $15,000 to do a faux review of sample libraries and plugins. They’re really just independent sales promotion / pitch people, pretty much the same as you see on informercials, but their grift is dependent on them persuading you that they’re giving you a completely unbiased review. I can assure everyone that when you pay these guys, they won’t give your product a terrible review. They aren’t doing real reviews, they’re just promoting your products for as much money as they can make. The con has made me contemplate taking the marketing publication I stopped publishing years ago and using it to be a source of informing consumers about all of the sleazy practices going on in marketing. I think the sleaziest of all is influencer marketing. It’s deception by design. But it’s completely normalized.
