It appears that Sonivox is shutting down. Downloads are available at their site, but you might want to make sure you have purchases archived in case they take them offline in the future.
(not) Installed!
never bought any. 🙂

I bought Sonic Implants sample libraries back in the 90s and early 00s — which, I think (not totally sure), was renamed Sonivox, or Sonivox bought Sonic Implants. Because they kept distributing those same libraries many years — and decades later. Back in the 90s / early 00s, I thought they had some pretty nice libraries. I really liked their Blue Jay Way Drum kit (that’s from memory) and I owned their guitar libraries. They just never evolved with other sample developers.
I even had a soundfont library back then from a kid (a teenager) who went by GregJazz who was a prodigy. True story. When I first contacted Greg in the 00s and we chatted, I recall saying, “I have these soundfonts from GregJazz — I’m guessing that was you?” Yep. He’d been doing this stuff since he was a kid.

Check out my music.
Orchestral Strings was one of the if not the first VST I ever got, a whole dollar about a decade or so ago. Pretty decent. Vocalizer Pro is one tricky beast but gets that MySpace music style vocoder effect perfectly. Guess I know why I haven’t seen their plugins around for a while. Hopefully they shift some over to the Air brand or something.
Did they update the installers so that they won’t completely obliterate Windows 10 machines?
It turns out I own more of their stuff than I remembered. I have not had any of it installed for some years. My installer backups are dated December 2016 so I must have gotten a bundle during sale season. I don’t recall any issues with Windows 10- I would have been using that Win version then. I also see all of the Sonivox stuff I had used iLok- and I don’t know if that is still the case.

Looks like the installer EXEs (for the couple I checked) are new than that – issue was probably resolved.
Debating whether to download and archive the one’s I own or just moving on.
I think there’s only 2 of my old projects that I might have used Sonivox plugins in and I’ve lost the DAW files to both of those when a backup hard disk died.

Not good. Thank you for the info. Already deleted them. I guess I will d/l the current versions, but I doubt I will ever feel the need to install any of them again.
