I’m still refining things with the sentiment analysis that will be part of LinkedMusicians in the next several months. I own all of the Synthmaster synths and would recommend them, and I own more than half of the preset packs. I LOVE Synthmaster 3 and completely disagree with the criticism that it doesn’t have enough presets — in fact, I’d say that’s a ridiculous criticism as it ships with 900 factory presets and they are fantastic, IMO. I know that @lamia6 bought it right when it came out like me, and she also loves it (we’ve discussed it a number of times). Here is the result of the sentiment analysis I ran for Synhtmaster 3. The sentiment analysis will provide LinkedMusicians members with the ability to quickly understand the praise and criticisms of the products and services they are researching, trying to minimize the impact of shilling and influencers and focus on regular paying customers and legitimate journalist reviews of products and services. Of course, I also want our community to weigh in with their own opinions too.
I’ll be sharing more about this in the future. I’m looking to release this functionality this summer. But I will be providing examples from time to time on products and services posted in the forum to show everyone how it works and to solicit your feedback so that I can refine things. Here is the sentiment analysis for Synthmaster 3:

The most common criticisms of SynthMaster 3 include:
1. User Interface Challenges
Complexity for Beginners: Many users find the interface overwhelming and difficult to navigate, especially for sound design. While it offers immense flexibility, the sheer number of options can be daunting for those who prefer simpler workflows25.
Clunky Workflow: Some users feel the UI is not as intuitive as it could be, requiring too much effort to achieve desired results24.
Preset Management Issues: Users have reported difficulties with loading presets, particularly when dealing with older expansions from SynthMaster.
2. Stability and Performance Problems
Crashes: There are reports of the plugin crashing when playing through presets or working with older files, indicating stability issues that need to be addressed.
High CPU Usage: While powerful, SynthMaster 3 can be resource-intensive, potentially causing performance issues on less capable systems.
3. Limited Presets
Some reviewers feel that the synth could benefit from more multilayered presets out of the box to fully showcase its capabilities.
4. Sequencer Focus
A few critics argue that SynthMaster 3’s extensive sequencing features make it feel less like a traditional synthesizer and more like a hybrid tool, which may not appeal to purists looking for a straightforward synth experience.
5. Upgrade and Compatibility Concerns
Users have expressed frustration with confusing upgrade paths and compatibility issues between desktop and iOS versions, particularly when transferring purchased expansions.
These criticisms highlight areas where SynthMaster 3 could improve, particularly in terms of user-friendliness, stability, and preset variety. However, many of these issues are subjective and depend on individual preferences and workflows.

I had a coupon on my email for 40% off to upgrade from SM player 2 to Everything Bundle on their official website.
But when I’ve applied the coupon they gave only ~15% off.
Kv331 Audio’s website was not working as it should.
The price was ~180, and the coupon should have set the price to ~100 in cart, but it was ~150 with 40% off coupon.
Weird marketing ways.

I’d send the dev an email. I’m a long time customer, but I’ve never actually interacted with the developer that I can recall. But in the video for the Synthmaster 3 he says that his brother designed the GUI, so we know it’s not some huge cold operation. I bet he’d fix you up.

The everything bundle is a pretty good deal if you are into presets, as it includes future ones.
I bought little by little and I wish I had known about the “everything” including unreleased sound packs because that’s what I would have chosen.
I did contact them a couple of years ago, asking if they offered a deal for upgrading from “almost everything” to “actually everything”. They sent me a personalized voucher, that was supposed to take into account my already purchased products. The product was on sale at 50% off and the voucher reduced it another 50%. 75% off is generally a good discount but, considering what I already had it would have taken a lot of new presets to make it worth it. If you are interested in the presets (many of which are great, esp. the ones by Nori Ubukata), you will be much better off getting the everything bundle from the beginning.
