It is the thing keeping me from complete… what can i do🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Wait, where’s the link? You know we don’t censor cclarry here, right? At LinkedMusicians we honor cclarry as the 🐐!!!
I especially like that no one responded to posting whatever it is that is on sale…LOL
I just found the UJAM email in my inbox. I’m not sure if the discount code is personalized or not. If I find out it’s not, I’ll certainly post it here. But I wanted to check out the drum kits first and see if any of them interest me. Although, I can’t imagine that these would hold up to the level I’ve become accustomed to from Superior Drummer 3. If anyone here feels that there’s a certain kit they have that’s really well done that I should check into, I’m all ears.

EDIT:
I don’t use loops. I only care about what I can play, and clearly, UJAM is focusing on loops. I just came across settnng it up with Roland VDrums and it’s obvious that this was not created for compatibility with VDrums, that’s disappointing. This process looks like a total pain (if anyone is using this with VDrums and finds it’s easier than it appears let me know; clearly UJAM didn’t think the market for electronic drums was important enough to make it compatible out of the box). Although once this guy plays the set up kit, the samples don’t sound very authentic to my ears:
Hmmm… I realize that UJAM stuff is largely aimed at younger players and more loop oriented and the copy for these plugins have me wondering.

UJAM VD are not loop based, they are individually sampled multis, played by MIDI phrases. I will say that their patches generally have very heavy handed processing built in, so you will want to dial that out, or at least tone it down in the settings. The over-processing, in my experience, is an issue across all their products. The raw samples are “in there”. I wish there was a one button switch to clear all their post from a patch.
