Note: this is intended just as an observation. I don’t see anything wrong with the freemium model (I do like getting freebies and I often end up buying the premium). It’s just interesting that the lower version is free for a limited time instead of permanently free

The premium version of what? Have they announced yet which plugin this will be?

Last Black Friday they gave away “Silk Vocal“. I don’t think this is a lower version of anything, or is it?
