I created this GROUP to be a place where we can post funny, completely ridiculous memes that make each other laugh, as well as meaningful and inspirational quotes. With that in mind, here’s a serious one.

My mother — a very talented pianist/organist and music teacher — would have enjoyed this! She used to say, “You’re only a musician because you play the piano. Drummers aren’t musicians.”

Back when I was a working musician, my day job was project manager of large direct mail marketing campaigns, including Columbia House and BMG music clubs (this will mean something to Americans of a certain age). I had a wall filled with Far Side comics and this was one of them.

This is funny because it’s true for so many of us!
