I actually bought one of these years ago and they’re actually quite well done and money well spent if you’re looking for an accordion.  As a bonus, for a meager $5.36 you can introduce your friends and family to the joys of polka music!

You’ve got that right!  It’s a tad overwhelming.  I’ve got my eye on quite a few others, and we haven’t even gotten to the actual Black Friday yet.  And right behind that is Cyber Monday.  It’s going to be a heck of a month!

I always struggle with getting an acoustic mic’ed right, in spite of the fact that the rest of the world seems to do it fairly easily, so I’m definitely going to test drive this thing.  I’ve tried other plugins in the past that never seemed to get it right, but maybe this is the one.

Has anybody used these?  what do you think?  Are they good? Excellent?

It looks like there is some good stuff in this bundle and a great deal at just under $11 per plugin.  I was holding off on buying anything until Black Friday/Cyber Monday, but between this and what Softube is doing it looks like this is going to take more will power than I have.  It’s shaping up to be a looong and expensive month.

Well, if ever there was a post to respond to, this one seems like it.  I pop in CW everyday and their Deals Section is good, but Linked Musicians sets the bar in terms of hunting up the deals.  Bottom line: much appreciation and thanks to Peter for what he does.

I bought one of their plugins and was having trouble getting it authorized (as it turned out it was my error).  Anyway, when you contact support you talk to the developer/owner himself.  He’s a really delightful helpful guy.  I’ll give support an A+.

LIM Plugin Collection

There is a really neat program on this site that allows you to make custom reverb IR’s (sort of like Burger King, you get to have it your way).  I ran one just to see how it sounded and considering it’s totally free I was really impressed.

I never really cared for the old page.  it looked kind of like something I would put together.  The new site seems much more attractive albeit a bit utilitarian.  In the end I’d keep shopping there either way.

With ST hitting the sub-$20 price I wonder what its future is.  Syntronik and Sampletron 2 got the axe some time ago, so I wonder if ST4 is slated for being discontinued as well.  It makes me think IK is moving away from soft-synths and more towards a guitar-focus.  Has peter from IK got anything he could share with us about this?

I picked this up sometime ago and for $29 it’s a good deal.

As an aside, it seems like Waves, the originator of the $29 sale price, has now increased its prices to $35 and companies like Softube continue to carry the $29 banner.  Hopefully the $35 price won’t become the new norm.

I really hadn’t paid a lot of attention to this plugin, but after watching the video I’m pretty astonished.  $39 seems an unbelievable price for what it does.
