That is right, sorry for publishing the documentation for freeware, it was picked up too soon.

This synth was meant to be commercial and by fortune I got to sign a contract after giving up on that goal.

In Studio 8, “Return to Start on Stop” option gone from the Trasport’ right click menu. There’s still a shortcut and menu item, so I wouldn’t say it’s downgrade 🙂 Still… These little things here and there, I hope will be fixed in 8.1.

In my opinion, this is the best ampsim at the moment. And the new bass amp is just great.

Although the Ampeg SVT-7 is a bit of a strange choice, perhaps, for the first model…

I do attempt to tweak presets, but I don’t know what I’m doing and I take it that ToneX is a utopia for guitarists who want to combine their physical and virtual worlds and create their own presets.

I would say that TONEX is a utopia for guitarists who want to get exactly “THAT” sound easily and quickly. It’s a kind of sampler for tone. You can tweak this and that, but that’s not the point.

When TONEX appeared, its sound seemed to me to be lifeless, especially with regard to the dynamics. The situation is much better now, but I still prefer Amplitube. But I’m not a real pro guitarist, so… 🙂

No TONEX Signature Bass Collection in my list of choices. Is it normal or some glitch?

Hmm. Studio One and Reaper on my Windows system just don’t recognize it as an VST3 plugin.
