I read on a third party news site that the offer would be active until the end of February. Plugin Boutique’s product page seems to confirm this but otherwise take it with a pinch of salt! Does sound about right though.

I only just noticed that the Silverline Collection is down to 99 USD/EUR. That seems exceptionally low so I thought I’d point it out. Currently 83.16 USD at JRR with code GROUP. For a second I thought I’d found a glitch.

It was lower for about five seconds at reverb.com maybe five years ago, but otherwise I’d say this is a surprising price. Maybe they figure virtual instruments are where value is being retained in the industry, where effects, even quite expansive ones, are at rock bottom prices, especially in bundles. This is in line, for example, with the Black Rooster bundle, but it’s more of a bargain IMO.

This seems as good an opportunity as any for my first post.

If you’re considering this, bear in mind that as far as I have been able to work out through testing, all the sample content from Retcon is included in Blossom. In fact, I’m pretty sure everything from Retcon, GAS, and BOCS 1-3 is included in Blossom, along with new material. If you have Blossom, the only benefit you’ll get from Retcon is a different, arguably more inspiring, although arguably less powerful, interface through which to access some of the patches.

Also the prices have varied considerably. At one point it was possible to get a bundle containing Blossom, Retcon and GAS for only £20.
