I actually just sold my ’66 Strat and ’69 LP Deluxe this Summer because they were stupid valuable and I would have to climb out of my grave if my kids sold them at an estate sale for a pittance.
I still have:
90’s Gibson Tennessean (favorite- sounds like a 335)
90’s Takamine Classical (favorite) and easiest to play with arthritis
70’s Guild X-500 archtop
Ovation Legacy (thinner steel-string acoustic)
Washburn 12 string dreadnaught
80’s Ibanez (440?) Solid body with humbucker + 2 singles
Asian resophonic (Dobro copy)
Asian Banjo ($99 Amazon)
Squire Jaguar Bass ($99 Amazon)Drum kit is an Alesis DM10 that I installed mesh heads on.
Amps- Mesa Boogie DC-5, early Line 6 Twin, 65′ Twin Reverb (gonna sell that too)
Usually I use a Behringer 16 chan mixer into a Peavy 400 watt 2ch amp feeding a passive crossover driving a pair of RADIO SHACK Minimus speakers (they made AWESOME speakers in the 80′-90s) and an 18″ BSR down-firing sub.Other stuff in the menagerie: 6 foot Asian grand, Chickering console, Musser Vibraphone, Mystery old 3 oct. marimba, EWI wind controller, bronze snare, congas, etc!

If I could play, I’d definitely want a Les Paul. My brother had a red one when I was a kid, and the first rock album I bought at 5 years old was Led Zeppelin III, which I still love. Jimmy Page cemented my love for the Les Paul. But I’m sure if I played guitar instead of drums that my back might not have agreed with the Les Paul choice.
