I downloaded and installed it the other day and think that it sounds very good — one patch in particular is very much to my liking. Comparing it to a paid acoustic drum sample library, it only has two toms and doesn’t have snare rim shots. So, as someone who uses SD3 as his go to, and AD2, and various high-end Kontakt acoustic drum sample libraries, I want to use libraries that have at least 3 toms and snare rim shots. But for a free library, this is high quality and uses the free Kontakt Player. Consequently, I recommend it for those on a limited budget. But if you’re comparing it to SD3, EZX, AD2, BD3, or Abbey Road Drummer series libraries, it’s missing some articulations. But then, there are probably a lot of people who don’t even care about rim shots or having more than 2 toms, so that may be irrelevant to you. If that’s you — grab this while it’s available!
