Hey everyone,

I’m Will, solo developer behind Reverie at Parallel Minds. Peter suggested I come introduce myself here, glad to be part of the community.

Reverie is my first standalone app. I’m a video game composer by trade, and I built this out of my own need.
I kept wanting to turn recordings and stems into long evolving ambient textures, and the existing tools either required a full DAW setup or a deep sound design background.

So I built something simpler: drop any audio file in, pick a style, adjust a few sliders, and get up to 30 minutes of unique, non-looping ambient music. No DAW, no plugins, runs fully offline on Mac and Windows.

Behind each style there are dozens of audio processing modules, spectral stretching, shimmer reverb, formant shifting, and more, carefully combined to produce results that never loop and always sound different.

It works great with vocals, piano, field recordings, really anything with harmonic content.

This is v1 and I’m actively developing it. More styles, new modules, and additional features are already in the works for upcoming updates. If you have ideas or feedback, I’m all ears.
