Wow. This looks like a very nice advancement for Kontakt. The GUI looks much better. Even so, I’m going to wait until the Komplete Update goes on a half off sale, as I always do. Chritimas time or will I have to wait until Summer? What do you think, Larry? Of course, I’d love to have this right away, but I’ll wait until the next big sale. I have enough music-related things to keep me busy until then — especially this site!

Most likely until Summer. But I’m not sure if they will discount it this summer since Komplete 15 is still so new… (let’s hope they do so they can take my money)

I wouldn’t buy the Kontakt upgrade on its own, but I recall a half-price offer last Christmas on Komplete, plus they sent me a 45 GBP voucher.

That would have brought the price down to around 150 pounds for the K14 Ultimate Update from K13 Ultimate. It would have been less but you had to spend over a certain amount to use the voucher, which meant buying something cheap which I already owned to bring the price over the threshold to use the voucher.

Anyway, I held off and decided to wait for K15U. I guess I’ll update to K15U if they repeat the offer at Christmas, otherwise I can wait for summer 25.

One thing that could enable them to do that sale sooner without triggering much the people that already jump on board, is their currently neutron offer.

they will be able to argue that despite the sale would be to close to their release date, early buyers got Neutron for free.

But maybe this is just my wishful thinking😂😂

either way i think that a Summer of Sound 2025 is likely to happen and will wait for that
