ProAudioStar deal is back, apparently US only
I almost bought an open box Aguilar bass amp from ProAudioStar on ebay. The have a good online store there and on their own website. This Arturia bundle would be very appealing if I hadn’t just bought a bunch of Cherry Audio instruments.

What did you get? Most of my Cherry Audio plugins are from Humble Bundle deals, except for CR78 and their Moog Rackmode Signal Processors, which I totally forgot about and installed today for the first time (OFC only to forget about them again for another half a year, yeah).
Same here – most of my Cherry Audio were deals from here (or Cakewalk Deals forum) and the Humble Bundle. I needed a solid EP and Hammond that can run on an older laptop so I decided to do the $99 pick 3 deal this year. I chose the GX-80 as the third product. I also bought Lowdown a while back on sale.
CA Instruments:
Blue3
CA2600
Galactic Reverb
GX-80
Lowdown
Memorymode
Polymode
Surrealistic MG-1 Plus
Synthesizer Expander Module
Voltage Modular
Wurlybird 140B
Here is the instrument list from the Arturia V-Collection 8. I probably would get some use out of some:
Emulator II V
Vocoder V
Jun-6 V
OB-Xa V
Mellotron V
Synthi V
CZ V
Analog Lab V
Clavinet V
CMI V
DX7 V,
Buchla Easel V
Synclavier V
B-3 V
Mini V
Piano V
Stage-73 V
Matrix-12 V
Farfisa V
Solina V
SEM V
Wurli V
Jup-8 V
ARP 2600 V
CS-80 V
Prophet V
VOX Continental V
Modular V
@dsteinschneider thanks for the heads up on Surrealistic MG-1 Plus, didn’t recall it was free, registered it now. I’m accustomed to think there’s almost always a better emulation than Arturia’s on every synth existed. Like this:
Oberheims — GForce
Prophets — u-he Repro
Yamaha DX7 — Plogue chipsynth OPS7
Roland Juno-106 — Softube Model 84
Roland TB-303 — D16 Phoscyon 2
ARP Odyssey — GForce Oddity3 / Axxess
minimoog — UAD minimoog / GForce Minimonsta / Softube Model 72
But then there are keys, and you tend to be more drawn to them, so there’s a big chance you’ll find something special for you there. Personally I love Mellotron V for the ability to use your own samples, unlike in GForce’s version. But again, I didn’t explore organs and electric pianos market much. My basic rule is “try the others and then try Arturia”. Their sound seems to be overprocessed no matter what, and that’s what I like about CA, they are more honest in that sense. Did you demo Audiothing’s recents Philicorda and Wurly?
