I represent IK Multimedia so I will post official things. I also may just post random things as a real human being because I also represent one of those. I will try to be clear when I'm just speaking as Peter, instead of "Peter from IK".
I make no promises to be 100% accurate in doing so, though. 🙂

This totally appeals to me. I’d be interested in what others are doing regarding mixing. Are you mixing on monitor speakers or using headphones?

I don’t like using headphones for two reasons.
#1) I am facing windows (to outdoors) with my back to the door. It’s bad enough when someone walks in quietly and startles me, but with headphones it’s guaranteed. I am also a ham radio guy and usually am monitoring something on the side.
#2) It’s uncomfortable after a while, but I do check in phones when I am finalizing.
I like the IK ARC software and use it to trim down a bass resonance in my space.
My family would be very unhappy if I turned speakers on or even attempted to play my drums or percussion — I suppose with the exception of my glockenspiel. So, consequently, it’s all MIDI controllers, electronic (MIDI) drums, and headphones for me from start to finish. And my hearing isn’t great, so I need everything loud to hear the various frequencies.
I’d be interested in learning how many of us share our music publicly or with family or friends. While I played semi-professionally pretty actively, I worked as a drummer and wasn’t playing songs that I wrote. Even in the most popular band I played in, doing decent-sized venues (2,000 or so people), colleges, and festivals, the lead singer wrote the songs and wouldn’t even listen to anyone else’s music. So, it was more than 20 years after those days where I first publicly shared music where it was just me playing the various instruments and singing. At first it was embarrassing because I know I don’t have a very good voice and am no longer able to play very well, but as time went by, I got over it.

I use both headphones and near field monitors. Headphones are usually used when I have critical listening to do. I use MassDrop HD6xx headphones so comfort is not an issue for me. I often forget I have them on. For headphone correction software I use Sonarworks which runs as a Windows system-wide audio device, so EVERYTHING goes thru it (no need to run it is a DAW plugin and forgetting to turn it off before bouncing the final mix). It also has Translation Check, which allows me to simulate a variety of playback devices to see how the mix translates to them. The Virtual Monitoring add-on provides the spatial crosstalk that’s missing when using headphones.
Ugh, sounds like a Soundworks ad. Sorry. No affiliation. Just a happy customer.
