Excellent freebie (usually $99, currently something like $49 in NI’s Summer of Sound deals) here from Sweetwater:
https://www.sweetwater.com/software/komplete-15-select
Apparently there are 3 different Select versions (Electronic, Beats & Band) aimed at different types of musicians. Electronic and Beats both seem to include Massive X which is an awesome synth for free.
I think it might technically be US only.
Enjoy!

Great find, @fineally!!! Everyone who doesn’t own Kontakt or Komplete should pick this up. It’s normally sold for $99 US, but is on sale at NI and retailers for $49.50 right now, so this is a real surprise and I really hope that those on a tight budget will see this.
I hope you don’t mind, but I’m going to insert an emoticon, maybe fire or a brain (for no-brainer), in the subject line for your thread. I don’t want anyone who could use this to miss it.

I thought it might be flame emoticon worthy too but didn’t want to be presumptuous 😀
Also, after registering my code with NI, they sent me a voucher for their store but I’m not sure on whether everyone would get that.

This is a three flame worthy deal, my friend!!! I know there are people in our community who would love to have this!

Jumped twice, with different emails, as your NI account apparently accepts two of these Komplete Select bundles.
So I got Band and Electronic. All well.

iZotope Ozone Elements
Yesterday I installed Native Access to try out the Kontakt stuff in the Waves Alchemy bundle I bought. Realised immediately why I hate NI and then took an hour searching for and deleting all the crap the installer spread over my HD. Anyway, got the Beat and the Band even though I will NEVER install them. They will lie untouched alongside all the iZotope stuff I’ve bought over the years.
You can get all 3 if you have a second account. Just get the serial from second account and register it in the 1st.
New album soon!
https://linktr.ee/patrickwichrowskiIf you mean a second NI-account, I’m afraid the serial gets added automatically.
After applying the coupon, the serial will be in your secondary account, but not redeemed. Just copy and redeem in your 1st account via Native Access. 😉
New album soon!

Maybe I just missed the train on this, but the link doesn’t take me to a page for this product.

Yep. It was an amazing deal, but it ended a couple of days ago. The package is still on sale for $49 US at NI and various retailers, which is still a great deal, and half the regular price.
If you want to stay up on the deals and not miss the next one like this — and we’ve seen a bunch of things going free temporarily lately — I’d recommend subscribing to the Virtual & Physical Music Gear Deals subforum. That way you’ll receive email updates when new threads are published.

So it was only for 72 hours? That’s about the shortest length for a deal I’ve seen. Even iZotope glitches last longer than that.😄
Hmm, I wonder if they’re onto the “deals” forum thing, where we’ll get threads like this. The freebie is gone, but the topic remains, and it’s “still a great deal.” Smart, if so. Worth giving out some free licenses in order to get the advertising. Would most of the people who snapped up the freebie have ever bought it at $50?

I am a Komplete Standard owner who faithfully does updates every year. So I think the included libraries in these packages are excellent and easily worth $49 US. So let’s say that Sweetwater made a deal and got the licenses for $20 each from NI for this promo, I think it could pay off. They did require a name, address, email, and phone number, so they looked at it as customer acquisition, and it does cost a lot to acquire a new customer anyhow. They’re not expecting to see 50% of those buyers convert to paying customers. But if they’ve projected that a percentage—say 5%—will convert to paying customers and spend, let’s say, $150–$350 a year for multiple years, it could have a very high ROI.
My writing on marketing was very focused on digital marketing and marketing accountability. Stuff like this is elementary in terms of marketing strategies. You’re unlikely to see the small shops engage in these strategies because they’re less likely to understand the costs of customer acquisition (and retention) like a much larger company like Sweetwater (the largest online music retailer in the US), that likely has a CMO and marketing staff with managers who specialize in this area.
