I think this might actually be $10 off rather than 10% off which is quite decent acutally!
I’m guessing that you got the email from AudioPluginDeals that had a subject line that read “Celebrate Mother’s Day with 10% Off Storewide!” and the below graphic claiming $10 off a $40 purchase (which, like you, I wish was the case!). I did test it by putting items in my cart worth over $40 US and using the code took of 10 percent. I’ll email the store owner and let him now.

They might have fixed it (to our benefit). I got another email promo today and tested by putting two items in my cart for @ $46 and it did indeed take $10 off.
That’s nice! I did tell the store owner about it and he told me he was going to have the “promotions team” handle it. But he didn’t share the outcome.

I just got another email, and this deal is indeed $10 OFF $40 or more purchases, not 10 percent as their first promotional email about the sale had stated.

I just need to find $40 worth of stuff I want…
Studio One, Windows, RME UFX, Yamaha MSP7
I was contemplating the piano that’s going for $19.99 USD that Simeon did a video to promote, but I question whether or not it could cut through a mix with guitar, bass, and drums. It’s one of those situations I really wish someone who had it could weigh in.

It’s a pretty soft, intimate sound. I don’t think “cutting thru a mix” is one of it’s hallmarks. I think of it more like a piano for Lumineers-style music where it doesn’t have much competition with other instruments. But on the other hand, it’s lack of forwardness would allow it to blend very well in the background to add a little something to what’s already there. You know, one of those things where you don’t know it’s there until you take it away.

Thanks for the insights, @fretman. I appreciate it. The Lumineers’ style reference still tempts me, as I really love doing very acoustic singer-songwriter stuff, even though I’ve never shared any of it.
