I was scrolling through subreddits I follow and this cracked me up. This is what will happen if I sell my vintage gear. Some young ‘un in the synthesizers subreddit posted a photo of his vintage DX-7 synth he just bought off a personal seller (as opposed to a music shop) with this title and text:
TITLE “So happy to finally be able to post this”
PHOTO: Yamaha DX-7 Synth (of course, a legendary vintage synth)
TEXT: “Unc let me buy this for cheap!! Merry Christmas yall glad I got the lotto this time praying for you next time”Yeah, so that’s the thanks you get. Thanks, unc! “Sorry did I say that the price is $400? I meant $4,000!!!”
