Dead serious, but if any of us can be patient — unfortunately, that rules out me — the only months we should buy music-related gear is from October to December. The deals we’re seeing are just plain nuts, especially the freebies. I’m regularly seeing stuff I’ve paid much more for now dirt cheap or,, in a couple of cases, free this month.

That’s literally me watching the BF offers now:

…seeing all these plugins go for half the price I paid, or even for free (and I’m a deals raccoon, so I almost always got them for all-time lows). And we are just getting started, it’s November 1

To be fair, usually Black Friday is mostly a marketing catch, and lots of better deals come around the year. Not this time though. E.g. last BF wasn’t the same, and I’ve already said that in other thread: this one is going to be much more impactful. I’m sure it’s largely due to the new economic realities and a clearer understanding of how much an amateur musician is actually willing to pay ATM. Even Softube is finally caving to the $29-ish philosophy. That being said, I didn’t buy anything so far, mostly because I already have it all for twice the price ahaha. And this time I’m saving for Thomann hardware deals. Patience… Patience
