1. What country do you live in? United States – Los Angeles

2. What musical instrument(s) do you play and when did you start playing? Guitar, Bass, limited keys. I started in 1970 (!) although I took a small 30-year break from 1990 – 2020.

3. Do you sing? Yes

4. What level of experience do you have with audio engineering? Intermediate to advanced. I’ve been using Cakewalk – by Bandlab and Sonar – since March 2020

5. What genres of music do you play? Classic Rock, Americana

6. What are some of the musical artists and music that inspire you? James Taylor, Paul Simon, Bruce Springsteen, Jason Isbell, Sam Fender, Zach Bryan, Chicago (early), Dire Straits, Stevie Ray Vaughan

7. Do you do music as a hobby, semi-professionally, or professionally? If you’re a hobbyist did you once do music professionally or semi-professionally? Hobby now, tried to do it pro in the 70s-80s but never caught on.

BONUS QUESTION

Do you have any musical goals you hope to accomplish? Now that I can record at home, my goal is to become the best songwriter I can be, to record those songs, to get some recognition and maybe even sell a tune or two.
