UJAM VD are not loop based, they are individually sampled multis, played by MIDI phrases. I will say that their patches generally have very heavy handed processing built in, so you will want to dial that out, or at least tone it down in the settings. I actually just sold my ’66 Strat and ’69 LP Deluxe this Summer because they were stupid valuable and I would have to climb out of my grave if my kids sold them at an estate sale for a pittance.

If I could play, I’d definitely want a Les Paul. My brother had a red one when I was a kid, and the first rock album I bought at 5 years old was Led Zeppelin III, which I still love. Jimmy Page cemented my love for the Les Paul. But I’m sure if I played guitar instead of drums that my back might not have agreed with the Les Paul choice.
