Count me in as one of the “suckers” that bought the lifetime (at $499) looking at what I thought was from a trusted company and feel I was scammed by them. Never any talk of Musio 2, no mics they promised, and the price keeps going down. If I had some kind of legal recourse, I would take it.

Yea, I’m getting out of the Studio One ecosystem. Bought an upgrade code when v6 came out, and wasn’t impressed, then 6.5 wasn’t thrilling either, so never used it. Now with the new pricing I’ve decided to just leave the Studio One ecosystem.

If you’re going to upgrade anyway and/or are still on v5 like me, you can save a few bucks.

I’ve used Jampoints on hardware several times. Seems better than trying to use them on software.

Things like in the above thread on pricing and upgrades, have me looking at maybe trying Cubase as I’m not really sure where Studio One is headed. version 6 and 6.5 certainly were not big updates as far as I can see (but I may be missing something) So paying $149 for one years of updates seems a bit high.
