Somehow all the synths combined with the pedals decided to make really dreamy sounds. From the Lyra-8 through the Walrus Audio Sloër, to the Minilogue XD through the Empress Echosystem and the Matriarch with lots of noise. I went with it and made a hazy dreamy chill jam.

So, how does this work? I have a starting point patch on the Sub37 which is called “jam” or something similar. From there I tweak a bit to get to a good sounding patch pretty quickly. By accident I recreated a patch which I used a lot 2 years ago. I love that sound.

I had no idea (probably because I’m a man), but we were celebrating our 1 year anniversary of making music together. This called for a bouncing cake display and a pretty sad party horn celebration.

Experimenting some more with the pedals. I put the Lyra-8 through the Walrus Audio Sloër, and giving the pedal some bursts of more mix percentage really gave life to the drone. I guess that’s another trick learned!
