I don’t like using headphones for two reasons.

#1)  I am facing windows (to outdoors) with my back to the door.  It’s bad enough when someone walks in quietly and startles me, but with headphones it’s guaranteed.  I am also a ham radio guy and usually am monitoring something on the side.

I like some Baby Audio FX but I don’t find myself ever loading up Atoms.  I have way too many synth VSTs but I find this pretty bland and unfriendly to tweak anything beyond modulation targets.  Be sure and test drive it before you buy.
