Kontakt 8 is nice, but it causes problems with old libraries (Xperimenta Harpsichord make loud noises in ASIO mode).

I contacted them some days ago. No problems opening this library in Kontakt player 6 or 7 in ASIO mode. 😉

Xperimenta contacted me and sent a preset instrument that corrects the problem in ASIO mode. Also they will soon launch an update to fully correct the problem.

Retailers need to hit the pause button on sending Americans emails with the subject line: “You’re on the list.” Seriously, I have two marketing emails from developers with variations on that subject line. What’s your Franks Red Hot in plugin form, you know, the “I Put That SH*T On Everything” one that just seems to fit in everywhere?
For me it’s Overloud’s Gem Mod for whatever width everything needs. Does the job perfectly, and so efficiently too. (yes the one that was a freebie at some point, can’t remember where though).

You mean on every track or in every project?
There’s nothing that I use on every track, as close as I’d get to that would be MCompressor and MEqualizer.
On every project, my go to bus reverb is MTurboReverb. My output meter is Mastering the Mix LEVELS. Those are the only plug-ins that are in all of my templates.
