There is a ridiculous amount of deep discounted sample libraries, plugins, and music production software on sale right now. Valhalla Plugins, SoundPaint, and FabFiler are the only major developers I can think of that aren’t presently and probably won’t be doing deep discounts this season (Valhalla and SoundPaint don’t have sales, and FabFilter’s biggest discounts are around 25% off). Since I started this site, some retailers I have affiliate relationships send me a list of scheduled promotions, and one thing is clear, a lot of developers are not waiting until Black Friday to do their biggest sales of the year. It’s an extremely competitive industry right now and that is great news for music producers.
