Here I am. It is me and no one else. Looking forward to being part of this new adventure and being in on the ground floor.
Looks like someone called Living Room Locker is trying to take over cclarry’s role at CW. The biggest issue I see is they are an unknown. We all know and love cclarry and it is that history that add so much value to his posts. Cliche, I know but no one can replace cclarry.
Same with this community. Coming here is like coming home.

Hmmmm- I just checked in on CW and found a few locked threads of “Livingroom Rocker” Looks like he is running some scripts that get carried away. Oh well- I am enjoying the adventure here in our new digs. Still occasionally opening the wrong door when I am looking for the bathroom, but I will get the hang of it soon enough.

Ha! I visited the Cakewalk Forums (via Chrome Incognito) and saw those posts. They’re extremely robotic — like a bot. There’s no sign of a real person making those posts. I think it kills the readability of the forum. We have the one — the only — Deals GOAT, cclarry. In your face trust fund billionaire kid! You can’t buy cclarry or replace him with a bot with no personality. Just ask cclarry his thoughts on IK (I love Peter from IK, we’ve been friends two decades) but Larry’s rants on IK crack me up and have for a long time. Is that wrong?

It actually wasn’t a bot though maybe it was a human using a script. pwalpwal called Living Room Rocker out on all the PluginBoutique posts he was doing and he responded like a human might. It was getting pretty toxic at one point. Looks like Wookie cleaned up the mess.

That second part about coming home really resonates with me. I totally agree with you, Doug.
