This was surprisingly disappointing.

Good thing the download comes with a data sheet. Except for the impact sounds (which all sound more or less the same), every file sounded like someone swirling their hand in a bowl of wet noodles.

I don’t think I’m going to update my FX Collection from 3 to 5, but I’m on v9 of V Collection and I’m tempted by all the augmented instruments.

The Nembrini one is crap. I think Blue Cat has ome. Never bothered. But…what i did do was get Aberrant Tectonic. It turns a lined acoustic imto a thing of beauty which is not easy.

Weird.

V Collection upgrades are $99 for anyone with version 8 or higher.

@mustakatu I’m with you.  I tried Nembrini too and just wasn’t satisfied.   I just found this demo of the SLL.  Just doesn’t sound like it’s quite there to me.

@jude77, I instantly recalled Nembrini’s Acoustic Voice Guitar Preamp when I saw this one. I didn’t grab it back then cos the results I got weren’t impressive, and I’m glad I didn’t — this looks way more powerful. This might be one of those rare unplanned purchases during this BF.
