If you love LinkedMusicians and want to see the only non-toxic, transparent community that encourages members to and doesn’t permit manipulative and deceptive marketing practices pervasive in the music tech industry  (Google has referred to LM as “unique” and a “case study” in ethics in the music tech industry, LM can use your help in phase two of our journey.

After taking a break from manic deal posting for a week or so, I’m going to return to posting deals, but at a different pace and with a different process. When I return, I’m going to change my style and frequency of posting. it will be quality over quantity, sharing only the most amazing deals. I’m contemplating creating an email that keeps everyone informed of the deals every week and will be doing alerts to you don’t miss when there’s a highly time-sensitive deal, flash sale, glitch sale, etc.

I’m putting out a call for deal poster volunteers from our members who can take on a little deal posting responsibility. You can make it something you do as little as once a week for as little as 20 minutes a week. Any contribution can help.

I’ll set up a single interface that shows all deals from dozens of sources in one place. You simply need to look through the deals and pick out ones you think our community will find most valuable. I would be happy to set up the interface for you and do a video session to answer any questions you have. I guarantee that you’ll be comfortable with it in minutes.

Do you want me to set you up like the way I’m set up or give you directions? I’ve tried all different things, using RSS, AI, but I’ve found one set up that is the most efficient way to do this that I can set up if I use your email and create a login which you can change after I set it up or I can give you directions to get set up in several minutes. If we had even three people set up this way and just made sure that we didn’t have duplicate posts like we always should anyhow, the work will be divided up and we could keep growing and i could focus on high-value tasks to keep us growing and getting exclusives with developers and stuff life more giveaways. We have a lot of resources. This site isn’t going away, I’m just re-designing things to make it easier to manage. It’s really the best way to see us start to grow. I’m not going to keep doing deal posting like I was, but doing that kept this place, easily 1 year behind where I would be if I wasn’t doing that. In fact, I would estimate if our original deal poster hadn’t left us, we would have a community size easily 10x larger than what he have, because of the high growth things I’d be able to do.

Hopefully, with a giveaway with developers like IK Multimedia and Orange Tree Samples for $3778 worth of prizes this year, it conveys what’s possible.

Otherwise, I’ll send the info via email with a file you upload after you setup your account. Once your account is ready you upload the file and everything is pre-configured for you (by me).
