I don’t know how many years it’s been since I spent a couple of hours on the phone giving James Thompson (SonicCouture) marketing advice, but I have nothing but respect for him and think SonicCouture is one of the best sample developers in the business, absolutely top notch. From memory, James and his business partner were the in-house sampling team for Yamaha synths prior to founding SonicCouture. I’ll probably contact James in the next few weeks. He’s a class act, and the kind of developer I’d love to be part of this community.

That said, my budget’s tight. I’ll wait until Black Friday before picking up more libraries. But SonicCouture has a bunch of libraries I’d love to have (I don’t know how many I presently have — maybe a dozen).
